It's giving season!

Last year as part of our #togetherwecare campaign, together we raised over 23,000 meal donations for dogs and cats in rescue centres throughout the UK to help them find their forever homes. This year we want to donate even more, that’s why we created our Christmas Combo Charity Pack which includes a meal donation for every pack sold - real food for yours, and real food for a rescue animal.

What’s in the combo pack?

Our Combo Pack includes 1 x Limited Edition Venison & Turkey recipe, complete recipe with parsnips, cranberry and cinnamon – teamed with one of our fan favourites – 1 x Duck recipe.

For every purchase of our charity pack we will also donate a meal to a charity. So, whilst you’re feeding your dog their extra special Christmas dinner, a dog in a rescue centre is receiving a delicious bowl of healthy and nutritious raw food.

Our charities

Floris Friends Rescue is a charity specialising in trauma and neglect cases from the UK and Europe. The team work with both disabled dogs and dogs with behavioral problems to rehabilitate them and give them the life they deserve after such difficult starts in life.

Big dogs, with big appetites and even bigger hearts! We have been working with Boxer Dog Rescue North East for a number of years supporting their foster’s with high quality nutrition to help the boxer dogs in their care thrive as they seek out their forever homes.

How does walking through a field with hundreds of dogs sound? Well, that is reality at Diane Hart Border Collie Rescue. A breed specific rescue who have been using our food to help specific dogs on their care improve their coat condition, gain weight and support their rehabilitation. They call Nutriment their lucky food with almost all dogs on the diet being adopted after a few weeks on our recipes.

Giving last chance hope to council pound strays is Arundawn Rescue and Homeless Hounds who take in dogs who have served their 7 days and are facing euthanasia, through no fault of their own.

Tia Rescue specialise in rescuing greyhounds and lurchers from racing tracks throughout the UK as well as sighthounds who need a little helping hand at finding a home they can call their very own.

Animal Rescue Cumbria rescue and rehabilitate both dogs and cats in the Lake District. It gives us so much pleasure that we have been able to be a part of so many of their residents stories as they journey to finding their forever homes.

After a call out on social media for raw food brands we have begun donating to Many Tears Rescue and Dogs on the Street who have dogs suffering from skin problems and were recommended by veterinary professionals to switch to a raw food diet in an attempt to alleviate their skin issues.

Meet some of the wonderful animals you've already helped

Fred

Fred from Diane Hart Border Collie Rescue

Fred arrived in very poor condition with visible ribs. It was evident he needed emergency surgery to untwist his bowels and remove his spleen, but he would need further surgery to tie his bowels to abdominal wall once he had gained some weight.

That’s where our recipes helped. Fred was put onto our diet as soon as he was admitted helping his recovery and he gained a whopping 11kg in a few months.

Fred is now waiting for the final checks to be made before he moves into his forever home with his new family.

Elle

Elle from Floris Friends Rescue

Elle was fund on a traffic camera after a collision with a HGV. She was left with one functional leg and now has to use a wheelchair and prosthetic front leg to get around. Elle also suffers from IBD which the team manage with our recipes.

Despite everything, she lives life to the fullest and doesn’t hold back when it comes to exercising with her friends under Floris Friends' care.

Amarette

Amarette from Many Tears Rescue

Amarette suffers from skin problems, in which many foods exasperated the conditions. Her body was red raw, hot and itchy.

Veterinary professionals suggested switching to a raw diet to help alleviate these symptoms. This is where we stepped in with your donations, and with your help Amarette has now found her new home and will be continually fed our recipes!
