Hi guys, I’ve been meaning to write a review for ages so here goes! for the last 9 years Ive had the honour of owning a Beautiful Bullmastiff named marshal! i say “honour” because thats exactly whats its been, he’s been my ROCK through bad times, my joy through good times, my soul mate & my protector! I could go on with a huge list of positives as long as your arm but i guess you get the drift?
Ive always been careful in what he eats and have always fed what i thought to be Premium Food, He’s always done good on it and rarely needed trips to the vet. About 12 months ago he started to lose weight, drink gallons of water and was forever wanting to go out to wee, took him to the vets for a check up, they said it was probably age related and after a urine test said he had an infection. however he didn’t seem to get better so after a long couple of months with blood tests etc it was confirmed he had Cushings Disease. He was started on vetoryl high dose which we thought was working but on his next blood test it turned out it was doing too much and if carried on his organs could just pack in! Long story short, it was a bit of a waiting game as to which dose would suit him. In between all this i was like a mad guy, researching the internet on K9 cushings, diet, meds, herbs etc, ANYTHING that would improve his health. i learned that there was not much could be done apart from meds and a good diet. I learned that cushings dogs should be on food with low amounts of Purine/Phosphorus in so that was my next search. Then i came across your Holy Grail food from the WhichDogFood site which i must give a massive shout out to the guy that runs that page, I’d of never known about nutriment if not for him! I was a little unsure as i’d never fed Marshal Raw food, i was currently using a freeze dried food that was apparently the next best thing to raw but was worried if he would do well on pure raw food. i ordered a few tubs of the “LOW PURINE & PHOSPHORUS FORMULA” just to try after reading up about benefits of Raw feeding!
Gave him his first meal of it, he sniffed at it at first then wolfed the lot down. Ok, so he likes it but will it make him sick? will he have the runs? etc. I waited a few hours, No sick, no runs, dog likes it, maybe it will be ok?? Well its about 6 months or more he’s been on this AMAZING food and the difference in him is AMAZING. Hes on a very low dose of Vetoryl now, His 3 monthly blood tests showed up everything was in great order, he’s put some healthy weight back on, The vets are over the moon, his patches of fur that get shaved for blood tests etc have now grown back which i never thought would happen, he’s got more energy now than i ever remember him having, No more ear infections, water infections, he’s so much more happy in himself! I would NEVER go back to feeding dry food, ever again! The change in my boy has been almost miraculous and I’m sure has give me a good few more years with him. For a 9 year old Bullmastiff with cushings you’d think he was a puppy again!
THANKYOU so much for this miracle food, Its give me back my boy! We both thank you From the bottom of our hearts!

As promised I am sending you a picture of Kye, my rescue Samoyed.
Up until recently he’d had a pretty miserable life, having spent a considerable time in a pen with little or no exercise. After five months of TLC he’s beginning to look like the gorgeous dog we knew he would become.
We started giving him Nutriment food just before Christmas and he’s blossoming.
Thank you for your help and advice, the personal touch is much appreciated.

I wanted to write to thank you at Nutriment for your wonderful food, which is keeping my rescue Yorkie in peak condition.
When I rehomed Barney in June he had very dry skin. However, since being on Nutriment his skin is now completely clear and his coat is shiny and healthy, as you can see from the photograph.
He is fed twice a day on rotating flavours of chicken, turkey, beef, duck and salmon. He has his own freezer and actively lets me know when mealtimes are due, ensuring he licks his bowl clean every time.
I have also been very impressed by your delivery service. The food has arrived in excellent condition each time and always between 9 -9.30 the following day after ordering.

I just thought I would send you a quick email to tell you now well my puppy is doing on your feed.
Albert was born 23rd of June 2013 labour started about 5am and I waited with baited to hear if a liver and white boy was born. My elderly springer George was in the late stages of heart failure and knowing my other springer Alfie would not settle alone I was hoping there would be one born for me.
12 hours later the news came a liver and white boy had been born, tiny and fighting for his life. Albert was born at 200g while his siblings were 350g. He survived the night and kept fighting.
Albert survived and put weight on well his mum was fed on raw feed so at weaning he was introduced to your feed and when I picked him up I called to receive my puppy pack.
Your feed is truly amazing. Albert now 5 months weights in at 13kg. He is just what every springer should be. He reminds me dearly of George, who he was named after. He shreds the post like him, hides when he doesn’t want to go outside and above all has a great bond with Alfie.
Alfie has also moved onto your feed. It’s always been hard for him to hold his weight but not anymore.
I have enclosed some photos of Albert when he was born, and with his siblings the day after and finally him and Alfie now.

My order arrived the day after I ordered it, brilliant service, thanks so much!
Well I’m delighted to report the girls love the food, their bowls are licked clean in super quick time! Meg (my girl with pancreatitis) is doing grand on the low purine food, as you can imagine I do worry about changing her food, so I’m delighted that it suits her and that she loves it!
I must also mention how pleased I was when I found that the food didn’t smell revolting! As a vegetarian I do have a very sensitive sense of smell with an equally sensitive gag reflex when it comes to meat!!!! To have dog food the doesn’t make me want to throw up is a definite bonus, meal times are much more pleasant for me now!
Me and the girls are now 100% Nutriment converts and your food worked out nearly £8 cheaper than the “other” company for the same amount……There’s just no faulting your food!
I’ve attached a photo of my 2 gorgeous girls, Meg (Jack Russell, 9 years old) and Mia (Lab/Collie X, 18 months old) on the beach together, they’re both rescue dogs who had very bad starts. They deserve and receive only the very best of everything now, I promised them that when I adopted them, Nutriment is definitely the very best food. Thank you for helping me to keep that promise.

I am on the breeders scheme and just thought you would like a picture of mum and her puppies who are 12 days old. Mum is being fed on your food and I have had so many people telling me how healthy she looks.
Our starter pack arrived on Tuesday while we were at work, great packaging by the way. I left a 500g tub out while we went for our evening walk and Brewster had half when we got back from our walk and then another half before bed.As he hadn’t eaten all day, I took the risk of coming down to a present, but to my surprise the mat was clear.
We went out for our morning walk, and It was a complete turn around. His stools were greatly reduced in quantity and smell and were the firmest they had EVER been. I’m now saving money on poo bags as well!
We we got back from our walk he jumped on his bean bag and sat licking his lips, waiting for breakfast. No sooner had it gone in the bowl and I told Brewster to eat and in a flash he had cleaned the bowl, literally! I ordered a months supply the next day and we haven’t looked back, I wasn’t worried that he would go off the food like he had with the others, he loves it so much. The one down side, is he has even more energy, a Springer Spaniel with more energy!!
Thank you all at Nutriment.

I have to admit I don’t usually write feedback about products but in this instance I had to. Kensie has had allergy issues so we try to only give her the best of everything. I bottle fed her since she was a baby and she is such a sweet affectionate and loving cat. It was heartbreaking for us to have to feed her dry when we knew it was not good for her and her allergies but we had no alternative as we only found out the day before we went on holiday that there was a recipe change. I did some research online when we came back and I had heard that natural instinct also had started to go downhill on their raw cat food. There were glowing reviews about nutriment on the pet forum and after looking at your website knew we needed to place an order. She actually has more than enough put in her bowl and after she licks the bowl clean cries in front on the fridge for more. She has NEVER done this with the other brands of raw we have fed her. I am happy to report she has also given a two paws up on the beef as she ate all of it today! We have just the salmon to try now. ????
We promise to remain loyal customers to nutriment as long as the quality of the product does not change. This is what has happened to the previous company to which they have offered to send us tons of the old product to mix with the new inferior one to force our pets to grow accustomed to the taste of the new stuff. If they don’t like the taste of the new stuff by itself I refuse to mix it with the old stuff trying to trick her into eating the lesser quality product.
I will be happy to send you a photo of Kensie happily tucking into her favourite food! I cannot thank you enough for supplying such an exceptional high quality product for our little girl! She only deserves the best!

I feed all of my dogs on Nutriment. I tried doing it myself and it made a mountain of mess and it took longer than it did to prepare my food, so when i found it done already with very similar ingredients that I use (I take diet and nutrition to another level being a healer and energy worker) I sighed with relief and went straight over.
Happily… the best poops yet from my dogs having tried a few others. Its an important thing! Not only do my dogs LOVE it. Its easy to maintain their weight and fabulous condition. They back me up 100% in agreeing.
Nutriment is simply the best there is. You can also look at comparisons. The company are huge hearted and help many dogs in need and charities and being involved in rescue work too- this really touches my heart and is another tick in a box as to why I say this is the best food out there. Not 5 stars. We give 10 and a huge woop woof!

I just thought you’d like to see a picture of my cat Mabel eating your food.
Moving cats over to raw is quite hard and she still can be fussy, but this is her enjoying her first bowl of Nutriment and she’s been asking for more, which is unlike her!
Thank you so much for your hard work and for providing such a high quality product.
Deciding to move to raw is a big thing as it’s very easy to just chuck “complete” biscuits in a bowl and never give it a second thought. But I have complete faith in your food and can’t wait to see the benefits.

I just wanted to let you know how much Harvey has been enjoying his food. We only received the order on Tuesday, but the change in Harvey is already noticeable!
Harvey is a 3 year old staffy cross, who I adopted after finding him as a stray puppy around 6 weeks old. As a pup Harvey suffered with some terrible skin conditions and was generally in quite a bad state. After doing a huge amount of research I turned to a raw food diet which drastically improved his condition. Originally the vet said he could need medicated baths for the rest of his life – since going raw Harvey has NEVER had a medicated bath in his life, and the vet always comments on how good his condition is.
Over the years I’ve tried several different brands including Natural Instinct and Nature’s Menu, as well as mixing up my own food. I have to say, the difference in quality between Nutriment and other brands is really noticeable. Whereas other raw foods seem to contain a lot of moisture and become quite sloppy after defrosting, the Nutriment food is firm and doesn’t ‘leak’ everywhere. As Harvey is mostly fed out of a Kong I really appreciate this, as normally I have to mop up bits of red liquid, but your food doesn’t drip anywhere! Hurrah!
Now Harvey is not a greedy dog when it comes to food, and sometimes he’ll need a bit of encouragement to eat. However for the last three days he has wolfed his food down, and is visibly excited when I get his food out of the fridge! He has licked the bowl/kong completely clean which doesn’t often happen, so he is clearly loving the new menu! He’s also seemed more chipper over the past couple of days, and has even been more snuggly!
I also want to congratulate you on the packaging. The chubs fit easily into the freezer and take up less space that I imagined. Once defrosted it goes into some tupperware and Harvey’s food is sorted or the next two days. Brilliant!
Its a pleasure to find a company who are so passionate about providing a really quality product, and I will definitely be recommending Nutriment to anyone who will listen.

I have been doing quite a bit of research for my new pups diet. He had been weaned on to Eukanuba by his breeder and I had gradually changed him onto a mix of Orijen and Applaws kibble, mixed with some sweet potato (which he really enjoyed).
I was also looking into finding a good RAW wet food and found your website, via many positive reviews from other web sites. I bought the puppy starter pack (and cleaned out my freezer for room!), which arrived yesterday.
To introduce this new food gradually, I cut (actually sawed!) one of the frozen portions into smaller amounts, after all, the pup is only 9 weeks old and is a mini schnauzer. The trial dinner took place last night.
Buster, managed to eat all of the food, making piglet like snorting noises whilst eating! The best news though, is that he managed to sleep right through the night without the need for a toilet break
After, he curled up on his bed, with a very fat tummy and snoozed, so many thanks for a good nights sleep…..!
Hopefully this will continue, and I will certainly be ordering more in the future (but I only have a small freezer!)
I am a very happy customer, and that is after only 1 meal! I’ll happily send you another photo after a month or so, just to show him changing.
I first found information about feeding a RAW diet from various US websites, especially some showing the amazing effect on the improvement of the health of dogs. I had never really considered it before, but had periodically fed raw meat to previous dogs, with some veggies mixed in. You provide the full nutritional menu for Buster, delivered to the door, in great packaging. It’s is a big step to review the diet of your pup, but the information you gave on your site was great, and Buster certainly loves the food!

Just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for your help and your product! My spaniel loves the food, and often enjoys a duck neck (instead of the commercial treats she would get before). I much prefer to see her chomping on a duck neck, than on a processed chew stick.
Since a few months of age she has suffered painful and irritable anal glands, we have tried many brands of food, some worsened the symptoms, but this food had almost irradiated the symptoms. No more scooting across the floor!!
I have converted all my doggy friends to trying this food! I cant wait to make my next order. Thank you so much for all your help!

Charlie my 10.5 yr old choc Lab helping unpack his delivery. Only his 2nd week on this wonderful food, and already he has more energy and has lost a bit of weight. Hopefully it will also help with his allergy.
He absolutely loves it. I tried him on another brand a couple of years ago and he wouldn’t eat it, so I was reluctant to try again, but I am so pleased I didn’t was either the gale force wind blowing behind him today or his increased energy levels, but he was racing around like a puppy!
I will let you know if his allergy improves.

I have been meaning to do this since we first started Red off with Nutriment and having looked at how healthy he is today, it has spurred me on!!
We have had Red since he was 8 weeks old, he is now 15 weeks, a lively, glowing Black lab as you can see here posing with my daughter! Historically I have owned Labs and always fed them Kibble/Dry food, in my experience our dogs always tended to get digestive problems once they passed the age of 8 or so, plus had canker, skin issues etc. Our last Lab unfortunately died at 13 from stomach cancer. When we decided to get Red, we researched all sorts of feeding, the breeder had weaned him on to Kibble but it just didn’t feel right. Red has come from a working line and it just feels far more natural to feed him a raw diet, and although this may not be the case, safer in terms of the Lab tendency to gain weight!
We transferred him onto Puppy Nutriment almost immediately and have to say have not looked back. Many people stop us to say how he “glows” but it’s not just his coat. His eyes are bright, nose is always wet and overall he is contented, settled and unbelievably obedient! It just feels safe feeding Red Nutriment food, and not only that, he absolutely loves it. He was house trained very quickly (raw feeding lessens the need to pee!), and his poo doesn’t smell at all.
Nutriment not only provide top quality Raw Dog food, their service, values and ethics fit in with how we want to raise our dog. We have been given fantastic advice from the Nutriment team (Moo Tubes!!!), frozen carrots! Kongs full of Nutriment food frozen for teething, the list goes on. He literally eats raw meat, veg and the occasional sliced apple as a treat.
Well done you guys, I feel passionate about your product and fully endorse it to all of my dog owning friends, Red is testament alone.

My name is belle but my mummy calls me boo boo ( my unofficial posh name as I’m a Heinz 57 is belleboobootartaliciousexercetmissilebabe ) I’m a 10yr young cross between a Jack russell & dachshund, so I’m a bouncy mad nutty full of beans long sausage doggy
My mummy started me on nutriment 2 months ago and although I had been on Lilys kitchen before, my coat is so super glossy it shines like silk ! In fact everything is glossy including my nose !!
I can’t wait for my meals and my mummy says I howl like a little wolf when she’s getting it ready because I’m sooooo excited.
I love all the flavours and mummy loves all the fantastic natural ingredients such as a whopping 85% meat and ground bone as well as coconut, spirulina, kelp, “super berry” bilberry and lots of delicious vegetables like broccoli, carrots, curly kale and mmmm pumpkin plus loads more in it, as she says only the very best is good enough for me and I’m so healthy I never have to go to the vet, phew !!
My mummy says she wanted THE BEST food for me to keep me in tip top condition and after she read the WHICH DOG REVIEW that gave NUTRIMENT 5 out of 5 ( wow ) she knew that this food was THE ONLY CHOICE & I’m a bouncy testament to that !!!!!

I just wanted to thank you again for your brilliant food! My 7 month old great Dane Bambi looks absolutely incredible. Since the age of about 8 weeks she has had consistent stomach problems, we tried numerous foods and none improved her. The vets couldn’t tell us why this was happening and kept suggesting various “giant breed puppy foods” – each one was worse than the last.
She lost condition and despite feeding her more she couldn’t stomach it and just started throwing up all the dry food on a daily basis. Every time she drank water she threw up too! It was awful. I finally tried raw and she hasn’t thrown up once! Her stomach is now fine (you’ve halfed the number of poo bags I now have to use) and she has filled out and gained her target weight. Her coat is so soft and shiny now. Not only that but my other dogs have benefited as well, my Chihuahuas teeth have improved no end, my Prague rather now eats all his meals with gusto and no longer suffers hypos from low blood sugar or anxiety and our pug doesn’t get fungal infections anymore.
I really can’t thank you enough! I’ve just bought a chest freezer so I can buy more!

I have a recently started feeding my dog the low purine/phosphorus food and I just wanted to share the great experience I have from your product.
I read all of the reasons why to choose nutriment etc on your website and I was impressed by the reasons you gave to why I should feed nutriment.
I have a Yorkshire Terrier, 7 years old who has a history of pancreatitis but now suffers from diabetes and cushings disease since around Feb 2013.
After about 1 month of feeding Nutriment I went to the vets for his usual check up and for the first time in a year his results were absolutely perfect. As you may know diabetes/cushings increases thirst, and he was drinking in excess of 2 bowls of water a day. Yet since changing to Nutriment he doesn’t even drink one bowl per day.
He was also suffering from a bloated stomach after eating and was suffering very badly from flatulence. Since changing to Nutriment this has completely disappeared, much to my mums pleasure!!
Also I have noticed a significant change in his coat. Cushings disease has ruined the colour has faded and quality of his coat significantly.
However since feeding Nutriment I have seen his coat return almost to its original colour and his hair growth increased.
I am so impressed with the results I have seen so far and I can’t wait to see how much more he improves thanks to the help of Nutriment.

We have owned, trained and competed with our dogs for the last 11 years and always ensured we have fed high quality dry kibble. During this time we have noticed that our German Shepherd Dogs don’t put all their weight on until they have fully matured, but our latest puppy, Rizzle, has proven to be even more difficult to put on appropriate weight as he has grown.
We have always spoken about feeding our dogs on raw food, but haven’t been brave enough or had the time to work out all the separate components. We decided to try Nutriment as it’s so straightforward and now we’ve been feeding Rizzle on Nutriment for 12 weeks and the difference has been amazing:
* Rizzle has put on 4kgs, * The quality and shine on his coat has improved, * The waste output is a lot less, * He now drinks a lot less water and * He has become slightly calmer
Without feeding Nutriment I don’t think we would have been able to increase Rizzle’s weight in such a controlled and simple manner. We will be switching all 4 of our dogs over to Nutriment next month.
Thank you to the Nutriment Team for helping us, passing on your wisdom, being very friendly and welcoming to newcomers to raw feeding!

20 years ago I used to feed my dogs raw food, before it became “fashionable”. After finding it difficult to source green tripe, over the years and generations of dogs I slowly changed to kibble.
Lily, our 7 year old Large Munsterlander had a provisional diagnosis of Chronic Pancreatitis earlier this year, following cruciate ligament surgery. She had bouts of loss of appetite, accompanied by a lot of wind and loud growling stomach. These bouts became more and more frequent, up to 2-3 times a week. Despite changing to a veterinarian-recommended diet of Chappie (yuk!), the episodes did not diminish. Nothing seemed to ehp – changing diet, pain killers, removing fat and titbits from the diet. We had always (apart from the Chappie interlude) fed good quality dried foods (Arden Grange, Lily’s Kitchen, Burns).
After talking to a dog walking friend, I tried the Nutriment chicken and turkey mixes. On the first day that I had defrosted a chubb, Lily was displaying symptoms, and I was convinced that she would not eat. However I put the food down, she ate it and within minutes the growling in her stomach had disappeared. We are now into our 2nd month of using Nutriment, and she has not had a bout since we started. As an added bonus, her coat and much more glossy (although, in fairness it was always pretty good), and her teeth seem a lot whiter – although, again, they were always in good shape, they are even more pearly than they were. In short, I wish I’d found this product a long time ago!
She also has a little ‘brother’ – Joe, who is also enjoying the new diet! He didn’t have any health issues, but it certainly seems to be suiting him too.

We are new to raw feeding and have just placed our second order with you. Wanted to say how pleased we are with your products. Love the range (ie some without bone, some with offal/some without) and a variety of meats. Very happy with the consistency of the food, how well the bone is ground, the type of veg added and the supplements too. Nice that you offer 500g sizes, ideal for my Sheltie. Friendly staff when I phoned to place my first order. First delivery arrived frozen solid too.
I’ve attached a photo of my boy Thomas. We compete in Competitive Obedience around the UK and will certainly pass on my recommendations to other competitors in respect of your food – I can’t believe how well Thomas adapted to it – no problems at all transferring. It’s lovely knowing exactly what I’m feeding him ie not the sweepings off some slaughterhouse floor!

I just wanted to tell you how delighted I am with your product.
I had my first order this month and being keen to feed Edith my French Bulldog a raw diet, I was aware I lack the time and knowledge to make it up myself. So I thought I would give your food a try.
I couldn’t be happier with the results. Edith can’t wait to get her face in the bowl and it is scoffed within minutes. She even noses the bowl out of the way to get the bits she drops on the floor!
Her favourite is definitely the salmon.
Her breath no longer smells and she doesn’t have such a strong doggy smell generally.
Her coat is also softer and her poo is much more pleasant to pick up. I look forward to placing my next order. I recommend to all my friends in the hope that they will see the benefits of a natural diet that is also uncomplicated to feed.

After developing Struvite Crystals with a pH of 8.5 together with blood in his urine, my 5 year old Cocker Spaniel Blue was put on a prescription diet in order to dissolve them.
At first I noticed he was putting a lot of weight on as the food he was given was very high in fat – he went from 16.9 kilos to 18.45 in just 3 weeks. I took urine samples to my Vet each week to be tested and gradually the crystals started to disperse. However, one Tuesday Blue was extremely ill, with a temperature of 40 degs; shaking violently and seemed in great pain around the stomach area. Back to the Vet who x-rayed his stomach as she thought he had something stuck – the x rays were clear and he was given antibiotics and pain medication. I took him back the next day as he was so ill and asked for blood tests and screening. In the early hours of the following Sunday morning Blue again was very ill, the same symptoms as before only worse. I took him to an out of hours Vet who gave him a morphine type injection and told me if he didn’t pick up he would have to go on a drip.
The urine sample from the week before was now clear, the Struvite Crystals had gone, however the blood tests showed that Blue’s pancreas had been damaged by the prescription diet the Vet had given him to dissolve them and I couldn’t quite believe what I was hearing, you can only imagine my distress and anger at this news. The follow on food from this first prescription diet was also recommended to keep the crystals at bay – but in all honesty I was not happy about it and phoned the Company direct who informed me that this particular diet was ‘not recommended for pancreatic disease’. So thank goodness I had the foresight to phone them, or Blue would have eventually died if I had given him the diet my Vet had told me too.
After having strong words with my Vet, (I have now changed practices) I was then left to find a diet for Blue on my own which would be suitable for both his pancreas and also keep the crystals at bay. Believe me not an easy task, I spent many hours on the internet and telephone trying! Eventually I found Nutriment Low Purine and thank goodness I did. After telephoning the Company who were amazingly helpful, giving me good information and advice, I ordered the Low Purine Diet which arrived promptly the next day. Both my dogs are now on this food and have been for around a week. Already I have noticed their coats have improved, Rio especially had a few dry scabs on her back and they are falling off – and she has had 3 courses of antibiotics and steroids, plus bathing her in a strong medicated shampoo every other day which didn’t make any difference at all. Both dogs appear calmer, seem fuller for longer and are very happy with their new food – I am confident it is safe for Blue which give me the peace of mind I wouldn’t have had on any of the other diets I was offered for him from all the large Companies. Nutriment has literally saved Blue’s life and I cannot thank them enough for their help and advice.

Rupert is enjoying his Nutriment, everyone who meets him says that they can’t believe he is nearly 10 years old. He gets so many compliments on his coat and especially his teeth but for me the best part of raw feeding is how it helps to keep him fit, active and young at heart. He is still successfully competing in dog sports and gained his RL1 title in the new KC Sport of Rally this weekend which he promptly followed with his first qualification in the next class.
I thought you might like this photo of him with his qualification cards.

It was about five weeks ago I decided to take the plunge and change my two dogs over to raw and Nutriment.
It was mainly to do with my younger dog Daisy having near constant stomach upsets and itchy skin.
Clover my older dog was a little reluctant at first, but I had brilliant advice from Nutriment and now they love meal times . The bowl is wiped clean
More importantly both dogs are happier and healthier on Nutriment. I’ve just had a big chest freezer delivered , and I can’t wait to stock up on Nutriment.
